Most 3-152 and 4-203 used camshaft adapter for tach drive. All Continental used gen or alt gearbox tach drive, Perkins 4-212, 4-236 and 4-248 did too.
Interesting. I knew that later models were equipped with alternators, but I didn't know that the alternators were equipped with tach drives. Perhaps converting my 1966 Massey 135 from a generator to an alternator will be much easier than I had originally anticipated.
