Yes, high, med, low, x 4 gears,x turtle and hare. Always in hare. Rarely use high.

I started out doing most of my plowing in medium liked ramming into the snow. Though I would stall a bit. My hand throttle doesn't work. This year been using low 4th, and don't stall. I think my scooping technique has gotten better. Still nothing worse then driving around, and emptying a bucket that is about empty.

About 1980 my grandpa bought a brand new Ford, 1st time he used it he got stuck clearing his driveway. He called a neighbor for help and he came over with his Kubota and pulled him out. He called the dealer and told him to come get the Ford, I bet it didn稚 have 1 hour on it and bought a Kubota L245DT. I loved that Kubota.

I forgot I complained about the 4wd on my Ford, opening the door. I thought you were just interjecting a ford vs chevy comment. Though not sure where all this came from. I like my tractor, I just don't like that I have to lock the diff every time I shift. Doesn't seem all that useful without doing that. It has been in 4wd, for a long time.

While I may be hot headed I can't imagine just returning something in an hour. If new, you are taking a loss or screwing over the dealer, if you whine enough. Plus I just can't imagine making such spur of the moment choice.

66" Back Drag - Bercomac

I have been looking at this. I like the advantage of the SSQA system so I can still use the bucket and forks when needed, not having to fool with a PTO, forward facing, and being able to use the loader frame to position the blower at any height needed. The down side is the additional gas engine to power it and the cost.

Looks interesting, how much does it weigh ?

Looks interesting but that's one heck of a price tag...

Other option is using hydraulics to power blower on front. I know someone who did that on skidsteer. No sheer pins. Looking forward and can raise it 10 feet.

But it is expensive.

I moved 60 feet of banking, 12 feet high 25 feet deep yesterday off of my lawn, I broke it up with my bucket and then blew in into the woods so I don't have mud until end of May, worked great.. Big chucks of frozen stuff, chewed through it no problem..

What are you doing to break it up? That seems like a bit of work.

Figure will probably have snow until close or into may.

Last end of April was best snowmobiling.

Stab the bank, lift the loader to full hight and drop it, the blower chews up three foot chunks so no need to do anymore than that..
