DVR, Why r u selling? What type of work did you do with it? As you can tell from this post I would have no use for the bush hog.
I grubbed .6 acres last winter.Northshore44 said:What do you think about a bh? Is that neccessary for what I will be doing? Dealer claimed I would add another 6k to the price.
If given my choice between a BX with a BH and B without a BH for doing this task I will take the tractor with the BH hands down.Northshore44 said:New to the TBN and new to the search for a tractor. I have been looking around this site for a coulple weeks and have not found the answers to what I would like answered. My needs are ripping out brush, stumps and small trees that has overtaken the shorline on my 10 acres in Northern Michigan. The land is 98 % woods, mostly hardwood trees with the junk trees near the shoreline. I will also have other needs later, but for now this is what I need. My question is what unit would be best. I have been mostly looking at the B7510 ($13,000k) and B7610 ($14,100) w/fel. Why? Well, I think the ground clearance on the BX series could be an issue. That is the out the door price including the 6% Michigan sales tax. I have been told by two dealers that for what I am doing I don't neccessarily need a bh. Will these units w/fel fit my needs and are these good prices for each unit?
Thanks fellas!

1*Which hangs out further behind the tractor and takes up clearance space.Northshore44 said:I am thinking the same thing... I am not sure I will be able to drive into the lake and rip the brush out w/ just a loader without getting stuck. I would feel better on land and then reach out with a hoe and pulling it all back. One of the dealers was a Woods brand bh distributor that claims the Woods is superior to the 'bota bh. 1*Something about it has it's own seat
