So how long have Bota's had this defect? :)

Is he still able to use the snowblower? Maybe pull it with a horse.

Looks like the driver of the car just bought a tractor. Some assembly required!

Ouch!

Anyone wanna bet the driver's lawyer will claim the 'Bota was negligent for obscuring the drivers vision with blown snow?

Hopefully, the tractor owner gets a new L5040 HST with FEL, BH, and a plethora of attachments out of it. And a new set of boxers!

FiremanPat - Probably 3 layers, but could have been 4. 1)undies, 2) pants, 3) insulated coveralls, 4) Optional - longjohns.

If it's -30F or warmer, it's just 3 layers for me. And I refuse to be out at under -30F!!! The snow squeaks like fingernails on a chalkboard at those temperatures.

That's a given.

Maybe he should make an articulated Kubota out of it.:)

Ouch, I wonder if it kept running. I would want to buy it back from the insurance company and fix it or use it for parts.

I thought Kubota had finally come out with that new quick detach front end system. You want a bigger engine? Pop a few hoses, remove a few pins and hook it right up. Don't like the R1's on the back? Just swap the whole rear end out. I think its a great idea.

I don't insure my tractors because they are in locked buildings but I wonder if Home owners would cover something like this. What percentage of the blame will be placed on the Kubota, I wonder.

My road is not very busy but I watch very close for the invincible moron that drives 80 in the snow. But then, maybe the Kubota didn't look.

Are there still TBNr's that think tractors don't have a weak spot in the middle? Without that weight on the back the operator with a seat belt wouldn't fare very well either. MikeD74T

There is something funny about the pictures. In the second pic both of the loader frame arms that run back and attach to the rear differential housing are completely missing?

Also one would think that if struck buy a car, the loader arms would be bent or twisted as well.
