Good deal. Does it still look like the first pic you posted? I'll bet that mig welder is NICE! I am still sticking and beating flux.

That looks like a great modification pardon my ignorance but what is a MIG welder?

I don't know what MIG means, but it's a welder that feeds the wire directly to the weld and doesn't use flux, but uses a mixture of argon and carbon dioxide to keep the weld clean. No slag. Nice weld even if the welder is less than skilled (like me). Yes, it looks like it did with the hose clamp, only no clamp.

I looked at my 422 exhaust last nite and the pipe out doesn't look wider that 2" more like 1 1/2" how do you get the 3" to fit? Do you use other fittings as well?

The OD of the pipe that exits the bottom of the PT muffler on MINE is 1 and 1/4". The Supertrap comes with that ID on the inlet and is the one I used (other IDs are available). The outside diameter of the whole Supertrap is 3". There is a 5" model that won't fit on a PT without some major modification (more than I'd like to do). I can take some more photos if it would help.

Was wondering if any of you diesel guys have tried any different mufflers than the stock PT one. I sure would like to quiet down the 2cyl on the 1430.
