I guess retired means different things to different people,,Some people retire when they got enough money they don't have to work for it anymores,,some people retire when they can't work any more [because they are all used up,and nobody will hire them to shuffle around anymores],some people retire when they reach a certain age and live on a fixed income till they die.
I just don't think aarp's age of 50 reflects any of those reasons,or even if they changed it to 60 would either. And don't like getting advertisements from them every couple of months wanting me to join them,,I mean if the fish ain't biting, stop fishing in that spot,,they have probably wasted a tree on me sending me junk in the mail already. If it was that good, than they wouldn't have to do this. Kinda look at most organizations like this,,nra, same way,,I got guns,,have always had a gun since I was about 6,and will continue to have as many as I want,,constitution lets me,,,not the nra. I ain't worried about them changing the constitution either to stop me,,yeah some do,,but who cares what some do,,,now maybe 50-100 years from now,,if this country keeps going the way it is,,who knows?,,but I won't be here and the next generation can have the revolution I guess,,,thingy
