Happy Birthday Glenda

Today is my wife's birthday as well (63)
She did her stint with endometrial cancer 2006, surgery, radioactive seeds, regular radiation, chemo. Coming up on 10 years this summer and doing great.

Today is a pretty huge day, we have hair. We expected to not have hair until after all of the chemo treatments were over. We have five weeks left of a 24 week regimen and this morning I saw hair.

Glenda is a little disappointed. She was hoping it would be black and curly.....

Looks like she has about as much hair as I do, and about the same color, too. Glenda, we have an easier time washing our hair than some of these other folks do. Come to think of it, it might be easier for us to wash our hair than for Harvey to wash his beard.

My wife was hoping for curly as well. I would tease her maybe blonde and curly. I think her Japanese genetics prevailed.

A friend of the family just got news her pancreatic cancer is in remission. Her hair came back darker brown than before and very curly :confused2: :cool2:
