Abruzzi Rye Pounds Per Acre

When you seed Abruzzi Rye how many pounds per acre do you plant when you use a spreader vs a grain drill?

I planted 75 pounds per acre with my McCormick M drill on 10 Oct and it came up good.

When I drill it in I shoot for 50 to 60 pounds to the acre, broadcasting and then harrowing it in I put 80 pounds per acre.

I found the rate I used on a seed company’s website so it may be a bit high.

I found the rate I used on a seed company’s website so it may be a bit high.

It won't matter as you haven't hurt anything except your wallet $ when you go heavy on your seed.
