There's hot, and then there's instant scalding at 190 degrees F. It's possible to take something entirely safe and make it dangerous by overheating it to scalding temperatures.

Maybe politicians should come with warning labels: WARNING-habitual liar, overspender, ....

I am reminded of the warning label on some cans of silicone I once bought..

"Do not spray on th bottoms of shoes"....

Yeah. Some of these stupid things are cause by government bureaucrats making jobs for themselves, but some are caused by legal paralysis. Because so many frivolous lawsuits have been successfull, companies are paranoid they'll be held responsible for someone else's stupidity.

Steady progress has been made for the last 40 years to drive manufacturing jobs to overseas countries. Soon China will be the world leader in both everyday items, and high tech manufacturing. Golden oppertunties exist over in China for bussiness to flourish.
