I was just about to post this question. I am going to mod the cutter with wheels on each corner so it rolls along the ground more like a finish mower. It's a simple mod I think. I use my hog to do more finish work and it really rips up the earth. The corners just gouge the fields too much. I wouldn't have this problem if my land was somewhat flat, but it's mostly hilly. Of course I wouldn't be considering this mod if I could just convince my wife that I really need a 72" finish mower.
