I hope the PO can read around the static, and perhaps hit the sites mentioned and find him a nice small affordable power unit for his machine.

I've seen many done that way, including some even done with a hand operated pump style jack or porta power hand pump...

lotsa angle to tackle this lil pri=oject. none of em wrong.. just different.

I use one of these for the steering and lift and tilt on my PowerTrac, and I can lift about 1200 lbs. It is driven by the fan belt.
