Kubota M7060 or Deere 5075e

Huge difference in the MF & Deere to the Kubota money wise.

Kubota is a no brainer brand new at those prices. I am not sure if those were financed prices or cash sale, cash sale likely be 6-7k less.
It was not my experience that a cash sale for new machines would be significantly cheaper.

Interesting. They are typically choose "0% financing" or get "$xxxx rebate" if paying cash type options here. Big $$$ stuff might be thousands, smaller stuff might only be a couple hundred bucks.

The rebate is very small and why would it matter to a dealer? They get paid the same if the customer hands them cash or the bank or corporation finances. In fact the corporation encourages financing because they can require the purchase of their insurance with financing.

Might be a Canada / USA difference. Current Kubota Canada promotions.

Those prices are with rebates already applied. Cash sale would help for those who have cash . Getting a loan would negate the savings.
The Kubota has low interest rate but in the long run the increased purchase price is significant, to me anyway. If I had the extra $15k I would buy new, but that's tough to do for the difference between the brand and models.

I wouldn’t be afraid of buying that low houred 5075e at all as long as it doesn’t look like it’s been abused for those low hours. I’ve got 3 5e series tractors all bought used with very low hours, 2018 5085e , 2023 5090e and 2021 5055e . All open stations 4wd with loaders. They’ve all been rock solid and in my opinion built with excellent quality components. Few things I like; the loaders , buckets , cylinders seem to be very stout and heavy duty construction.
The hydraulic system works excellent including the 3pt system which can be very precisely controlled, movement of the 3pt lever a fraction results in the 3pt arms moving a fraction. Another thing I liked was the build of the front axle, one piece cast with planetary out drives. The front axle trunion pivot is very large and robust, important for heavy loader work.
The two 4cyl 5e’s have the 540m loaders and 5055e has 520m , all have been very impressive in lift ability to full height and breakout force. I’d highly recommend loaded tires and just as important plenty of counter weight to put the loaders strength to work.
All three have the 12speed power reverser transmissions which have been flawless.
Seems there’s always a lot of the very low houred 5series for sale which I think helps with pricing. I’ve been told this is do to a huge amount of tractors Deere leases. All in all I’ve been very happy with them and would buy again.
Thanks for the feedback. It's good to get real user feedback helps me and others feel more confident about the product.

I've noticed that too, for a while Deere seemed to be pushing 5055E with 553 loaders as a price leader, guessing lots leased and returned at end for something new.
Two of the three were lease returns. Any other was an upgrade to a larger unit.

I Would normally have bought Kubota new due to the better pricing, features, and quality. That's what I've done before.
But these like new Deere's are considerably less. I would buy new but it's hard to justify the extra $15k to get new, even after considering the rebates and better interest rates on new.
The Kubota dealer is very good to deal with, Kubota has given me hassle but I think all brands do these days.
The Deere dealer is also quite good.
But it's worth trying to figure out how to manage new if it's that much better of a tractor and more reliable. But it theae years of the e series from Deere seem to be reliable too.

Sometimes a brand has high amount of stock and cash sitting on lots so they offer cash rebates to push the stock through especially when moving to a new year. Kubota has lots of stock in Canada apparently, according to the dealer.
Other times they offer low interest rates and the dealer pushes for you to buy it with a loan as the dealer can get a kick back. This is common in car dealerships. I've had people go pay with cash but the dealer provides a higher rebate for a loan with the kickback and recommend going that route and paying it off after a month.
