Would have never guessed that Hazmat. Always figured you for older, just from your posts. Always pretty good council. Whoda thunk I was 4 yrs older.

Civics with those tires I like are the ones that also spaced out the tires to give a wider stance. Those axles aren't rated for that torsional load, and all 4 corner lean in. Someday they'll bottom out and hit a bump, and all 4's will bust off. And I'll /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif.

Well you're doing something right since you got your wife to approve the $30K purchase. I was only allowed $15K/w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Same here, Hazmat. I guessed you at my age or older for the same reasons. I never dreamed you were younger than my daughter's b/f. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Don't have one of those attachments. My CFO (Leo the dog) approved of my $21k Kubota (with attachments) purchase. He sleeps under it just fine, and he still has dog food. Ya'll are making me feel old.

<font color=blue>born in 1975). I would have loved to live thru the muscle car era of the 60's & 70's</font color=blue>

Aaah, you don't know what you missed; learning to drive on a '47 Ford coupe, then driving a '46 Chevy with vacuum shift, but the dual glass pack exhaust and moon hub caps were pretty neat on my '56 Merc. convertible. And even my wife still says her favorite car was our '68 Plymouth Roadrunner./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif And I, too, didn't know you were just a kid; our youngest was born in '69./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Well, I came in just as you were leaving, I guess. I started in the summer term at U Park...as a means to bypass the smaller campuses. My father is also an alum from '54.

BTW, I like how the tractor is a member of the family at your web site!! <G>

A thread that has risen from the archives!! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Well, no tips really. I went to the auto supply and had a choice of a low tone or high tone. Low tone sounds like a buick and high tone sounds like an import.

Have fun

Hmm... I started out by telling her that for the smallest tractor and all the implements I wanted, it would be at least $23K. Once she saw the usefulness of a tractor and what the larger model could do it wasn't too hard of a sell, especially since our plow guy at the time had his truck break down in a bad snow storm. After we shoveled her car out of the bank (7 hours) she was ready for a tractor. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
