I added a LED light bar onto the canopy of my 1802d yesterday. The headlights were really dim when working at night. I already had two rear mounted LED lights for box blade work which was an immense help.
The new light sure puts out quite a bit.

I like it, and need to add something like this to mine for snow clearing in the dark. Wondering where you got it and how many amps it draws if you don't mind me asking. Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
The light is a 72watt 26" unit I found on Amazon for about $38.
I can't vouch for how rain tight it will be as I live in a desert climate and keep the tractor indoors during whatever foul weather we may have. I find it to be very bright for my uses and chose this specific one as it wasn't a power hungry unit since my alternator probably only puts out 15amps at best. I don't have the specs nor could I find any on the amperage. I believe it's in the 4-8amp neighborhood

I thinks 72 watts would be about 6 amps.

Thanks MesaAZguy, price is right, and it sounds a low electrical load. I went to the link and after some looking, found one slightly smaller to fit on my roll bar. ( 24" available ) Thanks again, I'll have one on soon.

So I took it one step further and improved the headlights by replacing the stock 1157 lamps with LED units from Amazon. The light output and color is fantastic and a perfect safety upgrade for when driving to the fuel station. The LED lamps were $30. Low beam is as good as high beam on the stock lamps. High beam looks like a modern car's low beam in terms of light output. I'm impressed with this inexpensive upgrade.

Wow!!! I love how those lights look! I was thinking of putting on a rear light that Hoye has for the fender of my 2210d so it would be easier to see when I'm backing up in the dark. But I also like the LED strip and really like your headlight upgrade. I think I might upgrade my headlights as well. I need to see if mine are the 1157 or a different number. Nice job

From what i remember headlights are a tough upgrade in the lenses, you have to create something custom

Darn that stinks. I was hoping to be able to swap out the bulbs for some LED ones

I did just that and swapped out my bulbs from ones on amazon. Then again, My headlight bulbs were 1157 and so an easy swap. The new LED lamps were slightly longer but there is plenty of room in the housing.

I need to find out what kind of bulbs are in my 2210. I'm not sure what they are unless someone here knows of hand?

Just pull one out. It should have markings on it. If not, take it to an auto part store and compare it to what they have. Once you get the type of bulb that it is, you can then buy an LED equivalent.

194155-55810 is the original. Google it and you will get all kinds of hits. Might also try googling "hm6 35w/35w".

Thanks Careyo. I was hoping to find an LED replacement but at least I can find a regular bulb when I need one
