Hi!
the valve you are using, is it for closed system or not? or have anything to say?
Regards Jarle from Norway![]()
This is the data for a JD 2320
Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 2.6 gal [9.8 L]
Pressure: 2421 psi [166.9 bar]
Valves: 2
Pump flow: 3.4 gpm [12.9 lpm]
Total flow: 5.6 gpm [21.2 lpm]
Steering flow: 2.2 gpm [8.3 lpm]
So, you should be using an open center hyd valve.

Some valves are convertible, in that the valve may be just an open center valve with a shallow plug in the PB port.
An optional PB sleeve or set screw is available to convert the valve to PB.
Another option is for closed center and that is a plug to close off the PB port. The fluid from the cyl ports is the only fluid to exit the OUT port.
If you install a plug in a PB sleeve, that will also make it a closed center valve.
