i have been thinking about putting a hydraulic cyl on the top link andboth of the side links so i will need to control 3 cyl i'm hoping to be able to adjust my top link angle so i can get me blade to cut hard if i want and i also want to be able to adjust the angel so i can us the blade more on my ditches i think that with this much control my blade will be more afective how do i add enuff remotes to run 3 cyl at once/

get a power beyond plat and put under the balnk plate on your hyd top cover.. they cost about 100$

from there get a 3-4 bank generic open center DA valve and mount to a convienient place like a fender.

3 can be plumbed to your top n tilt setup, and the 4th can have QD's installed to use as a remote.

a 4 bank valve might cost you 250$.. plus hoses and connectors.. plus the 100$ power beyond plate.

easy build.

your max flow at rated speed is 4gpm.

a top n tilt setup takes very little oil.. IE..you are just moving short stroke cyls. . the '4th remote' will be able to use hyd flow up to the tractors capability. keep in mind that as valvs are diverting oil.. other functions downlione will not function. IE.. while lifting top n tilt.. 3pt won't work..e tc.. etc..(temporarily )

Antique Tractors - Yesterday's Tractors : Antique Tractor Headquarters

hit the parts section.. ford.. then your series 600 generically.. or the actual model.. like 640, 650, 660, etc.

the hyds power beyond plate is aluminum billet. neds oring set.. etc.

call them. good guys there.

they may or may not have the generic stacking or valve banks. if not.. a low cost hyds supply place like surplus shop will.

some larger farm stores may carrymulti segment valves.. as well as some larger parts houses.

here's a link to ytmag hyds section for ford 600 series:

Discount Tractor Parts and Manuals for Older and Antique Tractors System&r=mcats

here's the adapter plate:

Ford Hydraulic System HV4902 Hydraulic Adapter Kit

(Part No: HV4902) this is a COMMON part.. etc..

i see multi spool valve kits.. but they appear pricey.. look at other options for them valves..

if nothing else you can run 3 singles or 2 duals.. just plumb series.. only 1 function will work at a time anyway.. so no downside.. just a lil more cluttered.

heck a spol function joystick may even work.. though might be hard to get used to.. or could use the joystick for just the top n tilt, and a 99$ log splitter single DA vlave for your spare remote.. etc..

Really no reason to have 2 tilt cylinders. If the tilt cylinder is built properly, you will get an equal amount of tilt to each side anyway. Yes it won't be as steep of an angle, but your tractor can't really make use of full tilt anyway. It's not lake you will tilt a rear blade 25 degrees and pull it along 18" in the ground. You have to make multiple passes and the tractor runs in the ditch, so that in itself puts the tractor at an angle and that angle gets steeper with each pass.

You might want to think about getting 1 or 2 of the valves with the float function.

Good luck with your project. ;)

i'll go with just 3 for now after i get this up and running i might want to add a 4th . does the valves have to bolt to the power beyond plate?i found a nice set of valves last night i would like to run them if possible i was thinking that i could mount the valvs between my legs so i could use three fingers to work them wile i was moving id like to have the levers on the valves set up like the cyl far right ,will move the cyl to make my blade angle middle will move the top and left will give me a ngle to the left. like i said wife and kid uses the tractor so i will have to keep it simple lol

what is a float function? i don't know anything about this stuff i was just thinking that if i hade one on each side it would be better . it might cause me problems and i will just run the three being that you said 4 could be a problem. im depending on you guys im new to remotes i have never used any.

i told you the PB plate sandwiched under the oem blank plate.. so thus.. there is NO WAY the new valves could bolt to the PB plate.

there is not much room under the seat to mount a valve ank that size.. I'd go on hood right or left side or fender.. but i guess you could rig something.

3 DA valves will give you top n tilt and a remote, as MVR mentioned.. you REALLY only need 2 cyls/valves for TT

2 it is thenno reason to wast money on something i'll never use but i must tell you my seat is not stock some one has put on a different seat it is quite tall .

IF only needing 2 DA valves, and never needing another.. you COULD find an oem or tisco valve set that DOES bolt right on the top cover IN PLACE of the oem BLANK plate that the PB plate would sandwich underneath.

typically the Dual DA valves go for about 350+/- used.

that would be less actual work.. and would get the valve handles under the seat for you.. again.. if you only wanted 2. still.. you always have the option of mounting that PB plate UNDER the oe style 2 valve bank at a later time to pick up more valves if needed, if you decided to get a remote set late.

so your call.

easy... or cheap.. or kinda both.

all depends on what valves you want and how you want to deal with hoses. oem 2 spool da set is less work and hoses.. and not a whole lot mor emoney .. or maybe none at all more once you buy 2 generic valves AND a pb plate and the hosing to connect between them.

I'd go that way.. used DA dual spool oe style for fords from 55-75...

Having the float function will allow you to finish grade-smooth at say a Y intersection on a driveway where the slope of the road twists at the transition. The implement will follow the grade instead of the tractor. This works very well. Many other uses, this is just one that I use often. ;)

thanks i hate to sound foolish but i would like to ask a question. i found a adapter kit on e bay it says the kit has three ports pressure ,power -byond and return i pretty much have a idea where the return t is and what it is for but i don't know about the pressure or the pb port arn't they the same?

depends on if you are using a PB valve or not..

im ging to be building this from nothing so if im right i could run any valve i would want ijust want the valve to go to center by its self i don't want the valve to keep moving the cyl if i was to let it go .so what kind of valve woul i want to get?

   / adding remotesto my 600 #18
you can use detented valves if you want, depending on application.. your choice.. but that must be setup as OPEN CENTER
