Hello, This is my first post, I just bought a Branson 3510 with a fel and finnish mower.I don't know how I got along with out a front end loader in the past. The tractor has really impressed me so far but I would like to install a small tool box somewhere for a few needed tools.I just haven't been able to come up with a good location so far. Any suggestions from anyone with this tractor that has come up with a good location?

Thanks, Mike

Mike, here is what I did to my NH TC24D. . .

I used epoxy and glued a SMV sign onto the back of the toolbox after this picture was taken. The original factory toolbox is still accessable by flipping the seat forward.

I made a bracket and simply bolted it to the base plate of the ROPS using the original ROPS bolts, so the install is rock solid and did not require me to drill any new holes into the tractor.

My box is a Sears Craftsman Truck box for a Dodge truck, it is about 8" front to back, 16" wide and 18" tall.

Here is a picture of the bracket I made to mount my box.

I used 1/8th inch steel by 2" wide, I primed and painted it with 3 coats of paint to minimize rusting. The bolts I used to attach the box are Stainless Steel.

The Box is also offset a few inches to one side so that the factory Aux light can still be mounted on its original mounting bracket.

Mike, I have a toolbox on my list of add-ons for the future. You might want to check out a poster to this forum ...PineRidge . He has a website you will find with his postings, and has some good pictures of the process of building his toolbox mount. His design was similar to the other response you got. He built a mount and u-bolted it to his ROP, then bolted a plastic work box to it. I think he bought the box at home depot or something like that. The finished height of the box was slightly above the back of his seat.

Thank you for the replies, Bob your setup looks great and has given me some much needed direction. Pete it's funny you mentioned going to home depot for a tool box, because this is what I recently did. I found a good sized hard plastic box for $20.00 that is going to work out well. Now to just get some time to put it all together.

Thanks, Mike
