Adjusting loader arms for quick attach alignment

New tractor owner and first post. Been lurking for while.

While clearing some brush a limb caught my quick attach levers and my bucket fell off.

When I tried to get it back on I noticed one of my loader arms is 5-6 inches higher than the other and the quick attach plate is also curled more than the other making attaching the bucket much harder. Not very quickish...

My immediate thought was that the hydraulics are just not in "sync" and the pistons in the cylinders are not in the same position.

Any way to adjust this?

Roll them all the back and get them the same, your plate may be bent. If you cycle your loader arms all the way in or all the way out it might help, not gonna say fix it. I had this happen to a grapple bucket on a skidsteer once and had to do a little cutting/welding to relieve the stress. Post some pictures if you can.

There is a round rod that connects the two sides of the quick attach, known as the "timing" rod since it's meant to keep the two sides aligned. Yours has gotten twisted because of what happened. You either need to twist it back, or cut it off and re-weld it back into the proper alignment.

Normally when the happens, it's a minor twist, but if you are out of whack 5-6" across the two sides, maybe the damage is more serious.
