Get some surplus PSP (perforated steel plate) from one of the air bases or a scrap yard and you can have either a permanent or temp solution.

What exactly is funny. All I see is some good advice for cheap fix and a few deep pocket avises but still workable.

Would putting geotext and then soil/sand help keep it from washing out in a rain event?

Again, thanks for all the ideas!

I rearranged the rocks so the flat sides were up and then filled the voids with the smaller rocks sand from the wash. Took about 1.5 hours.
The only issue I had was the 113 degree heat and the large rattlesnake sleeping in the riprap about 10 yards from my work area!
Now I need to find a sunshade for my tractor!

BAH! 113 degrees in Arizona, is not that bad, you have no humidity! granted 113 is still ugly temp!
