Re: After 1st Day\'s Use

Update on my hydraulic leak on the FEL:

Ended up taking tractor back to dealer because I couldn't get the leak fixed. The fitting in question ended up having a hairline crack in it causing the leak. Dealer replaced it in about 10 or 15 minutes.

All is right with the world again!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Glad your problem worked out, also. Now, no more problems for either of our new toys, right?

Good to hear that it was an easy fix and the dealer took care of you...

Re: After 1st Day\'s Use

My L4400 had a hydraulic leak. It stays outdoors so I didn't notice it for a while. Leaked enough to bring the fluid level down below the check window. I found the leak myself. It came from around where the rear remote connects to the transmission housing just below the seat. I took it back to the dealer and it was a little o-ring that was blown. They didn't say so but I suspect it was installed improperly by the dealer. He fixed it quickly though.

I did have to rent a trailer and haul the tractor some 80 miles round trip, so it did cost me. But, this wasn't a Kubota QC issue and so far I've not had any other problems.
