Sean, I appreciate your response... I gotta tell you, I was beyond shocked when they quoted $1,500... dunno what they had been smoking but I was convinced I could find the parts much, much cheaper.
Again, I appreciate your help and don't be surprised if I come back with questions. Thank you Sir. :)

I did this to my JM354 Jinma. I negotiated a valve at the local tractor/western wear store and had to get a optional Power Beyond port fitting from a different hydraulics store and wound up putting $200 in the whole setup. I did have to manufacture my valve mounting bracket and used the field make (screw-on) hose ends. The hydraulic instructions came from this site and did exactly what I was told and it worked great. It can be done so don't be afraid. bjr

Mine was much the same. I got some solid information from the guys here, and after asking the right questions at one of the hydraulic shops I got the job done with minimum problems and a reasonable cost.

I have to give the local Kubota dealers credit, they both suggested I could piece the parts together myself and save some money doing it. It would have been easy to make a big deal out of the job, mention warranty issues and I would have probably let them do it.

This was a 10GPM valve, which is typical for most CUTs. The local hydraulics shop was considerably better priced than Surplus Center for valves.

Will you say what you paid for your valve? SC has 12GPM valves for $99. Yours was considerably less than that?

We don't need to go on and on here. The OEM valve sets are not the same thing as the aftermarkets units and kits and no one should expect to pay the same amount for one in my opinion. Comes down to what one is willing to have and pay for, they both get the job done.

Ray, I went to your website and looked at the loaders. Where are they made? BTW, You should give consideration to joining the TBN paid advertisers group. Looks like you have lots of products to promote/advertise. Ken Sweet
