Had a little drifting yesterday, got tractor out just to play and clean up what little snow there was. Supposed to get a couple of inches today.

Gee local weatherman said 2" to 3" for us in the Mohawk Valley section, lake effect snows. Then heavy snows Wednesday into Thursday.I'll go out in a few and clean up the drifts and scrap the driveway, then for sure it will snow for Wallace.

Someone told me about a possible huge storm measured in feet coming this week. That would be a disaster

JB4310, you are correct, I have been using my roof rake every weekend,24" on covered RV and around the roof edges of the house. If you can't keep up with it It could become a problem.

According to our local news, North Eastern Indiana, we have gotten more than 2x the snow this year than on a normal year. Last year all season we got 9 1" snows or more for a total of 24.5" This year we have already had 8 snows 3" or more.

I know my wallet likes it. I have about 10 drives and a 2 mile private road I plow. We usually get snow well though the 1'st of March so I am looking good.

Hey, stop wishing that stuff on us! I'm sure it would good for business but clearing snow is just a non-profit chore for me :laughing:

It's coming down again here, was supposed to be just a dusting and end early morning but it's still going strong at 11:30 am. a good 4-5 inches now.

With another storm coming up from the south tomorrow night, this one will turn into a Nor'Easter. They are having trouble predicting snow fall from this one but they say it will be substantial ~12".

We are definetly locked into a snow fall pattern this year, more than I can ever remember!

Just answered a call before posting this, a self storage facility has a roof sagging 1 foot insde one unit. Not good! These are large units and some of the renters take down the common walls between the two units they rent. Managers worried about the next storm, so I'll probably be removing snow from that roof.

These places are built kinda cheaply, the roofs don't feel that solid when I walk on them in the summer! low almost flat pitch roofs with 2-3 feet of snow on them!

Better than here. We were supposed to have the la nina winter with frigid cold temps and tons of snow. This week were in the 50's and sunshine, only chance of precipitation is Sunday morning and that is rain. I think that it is since my tractor is ready, maybe i should take off the landscape rake. :laughing: So for all you guys that are getting all the snow, please send it west. :thumbsup:

new tractor , full of fuel , no snow ... I would like to try it out and get fine tuned for future winters . Here we've been getting an inch or a dusting off and on . Not wishing any bad storms on us or those that are seeing serious problems with too much snow . I guess buying a new tractor might have been like buying a insurance policy . *********

No doubt. I bought a 6' blower this past summer and set up my tractor up with it (involving a substantial hydraulics project) for use this year. I thought for SURE that would be sufficient to assure a no-snow year. Go figure.

Looks like 4-8 inches coming here in York County. Pretty narrow band though, so I don't know if you'll see much in Montgomery county. Good luck to you!
