Looks them durned fool engineers who wrote the national electrical code are wrong and you are right .

I'm flattered, but what code? I didn't mention any. (I'm not a real person either, just a 'bait-bot'. :D)

btw, should I repeat this for impact? :)

typing on a little bitty smart phone screen contributes to all manner of adventures in errors.

Uh, so far I only type numbers into my flip phone. The screen is about 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". If it has internet I don't know how to log on. But maybe you could show my how to get it to do that. (don't have to actually see it, do you?)

I abbreviated my screen name phonetically, or tried to. Secret: I spell - reasonably - well for my age. (Mom says if I finish my homework early I can stay up and watch a late movie ...)
btw, do you like the look with the spaces in between and underline? Did that myself! :cool2:

Oh, and IMO, bullying folks on fora (forums) "contributes to all manner of" ... well I'd like to coin the term 'social entertainment' for the members. (basically a laugh here and there tho' no one with any sense really gives a s__ about the participants.)
Honestly, bro', we really ought to hang out some time! :drink:

t:)o:)g:) (t*o*g) ((aka T_O_G ... and/or some unprintable stuff))

(you knew all this ;))

One of these days I am going to travel through mid Michigan. Recently I found an old street address for the mysterious and secretive " Clooney" . Clooney was very knowledgeable regular on the ytmag site for about a decade but one day gave it up and went 'cold turkey" . Like Batman or Superman, there are probably only 2 or 3 people who knew who his civilian ID.

Uh we're kinda hijacking, but please look me up if you come this way. (~1 hr W of the bridge) From past PMs I suspect we have much more in common than differences. (Buick, Deere, 'BTDT', occasional sarcasm, etc)

bigtiller, don't mind us. We're practically old friends by now. Got blast cabinet yet? (that door's open now that you have the CFM)

Here is another update.

I called Quincy for a recommendation for an electric condensate valve. I ordered it, and got it put on this week. I set the timers for a 4 second spritz every 45 minutes. The tank is 4' away from the overhead door so to try to keep the timer clean, I put a plastic bag around it and loosely taped it so the wind wouldn't blow it off.

Does anyone else have a condensate valve and what is yours set at? A factory authorized technician told me to set it for 10 seconds every 15 minutes but that drains the little 60 gallon tank down enough for the pump to run every other cycle.

I suggest drilling a hole in the floor, and with a piece of clear vinyl plastic tubing, route the drain end of the valve into that hole, so it drains under the slab.

You avoid having water, and rust stains on the floor.

Plus, it's quieter.
