Not picking on Deere Dude, just the statement pictured...
But alcoholic firearms owners are ok? Personal experience makes me far more worried about an armed drunk than a stoner...

Oh, Deere Dude, that's no way to think. A drunk guy is just as likely, if not more so, to be dangerous with a gun! We should all resist giving government the power to disarm us. Disarming us is in the government's interest, not ours. I wonder if someone prescribed some opioid pain meds would get that letter? Probably not... But are they any more safe with a firearm while under the influence? Probably not...

Interesting.......in our state.....the local police chief issues concealed carry permits.....he is the one who told me to try the CBD oil from our local marijuana store on my knee........he issued my permit years ago.

Haa. I have been called a lot of things but never been called a liberal. Ever. I was not advocating alcohol over MJ.
I do have problems with dopers or drinkers waving guns around thinking that they can handle liquor or drugs with no effect. If any is ingested in minimal amounts then no problem but everyone needs to know their limits and stay well below them. That said, I would bring back prohibition and MJ would be illegal all over, with the exception of medical MJ, possibly.

What's worse than a liberal IMO is someone who wants to push their own social agenda upon others. Those same people scare me because they never seem to learn from the past.
