If you remember some of my prior posts, I was trying to figure out what trailer to buy. My choices ended up being between Gatormade and Allpro.
The price was similar between the two companies, but Allpro had the edge and included a spare tire. I did have to drive to Jax, FL to get the Allpro so that ate into my overall cost somewhat, but I still would have had to travel to get the Gatormade.
After seeing some of the very negative comments about Gator's quality, I decided to get the Allpro.
Basically, my trailer is a 76" x 16' 7,000 lb trailer with 2 brake axles on Radial 15" tires, wood deck, and removeable slide-in ramps.
There are a few things that I can tell make the trailer somewhat cheaper than PJ, Big Tex, and other trailers, but it is overall a well built trailer. It pulled smooth and tracked well. The brakes are adjusted well and my Tekonsha Prodigy P3 stopped it smooth with a power setting of 6.2. The lights worked properly as soon as I hooked up.
I will post pics of it as soon as I treat the wood.
In any case, I just wanted to post this so that there could be some record of a good experience with All Pro. I found little info on the trailer manufacturers I was looking at when I was searching, and none on Allpro. In any case, I give Allpro a :thumbsup:
