That is the sad reality of it all Soundguy. We have an AC C that has been sitting in our shed for a long time. The engine stoped oiling, so we parked it. I just haven't had the extra time and money to put into a tractor that doesn't serve much purpose around the farm and wouldn't be worth the expense of a rebuild alone. It would be neat to have it working again though....
P.S. $350 for a paint job is definitely slave labor too!
ditto what the other poster said about oiling. there is a good article ont he net about making a new tube. you essentially cut a piece of copper tube or brake line.. do a lil crimp and solder and drilling.
also.. some oil fitlers that cross to a c159 are not correct as they do not hav e the floss media in them.. and on occasion.. the tube comes off in the filter!
as for a 350$ slave labor paint job.. I was just counting materials alone
