Allis Two Row Corn Planter

I never found a model number either, but I believe it is just known as a snap coupler planter. I just ordered plates from Lincoln Ag Products, you can find them on the web. I sent them seeds I was planting and they picked the plates that were correct.

ITs prob a WD style rear mount. It might have a snap coupler hitch. Many were four row and cut down to two row models. .Lincoln Ag products should have the plates and adaptors. They are suppose to use thesame ones that old JOhn Deeres used. . I do have a manual for one I was given. I got mine for food plots for the deer and quail and am looking for some wheat , milo ., sunflower and turnip or sugar beet plates my self.

I just made an impulse purchase on an Allis Chalmers two row corn planter. I have had my eye out for quite some time for a planter in good condition at a reasonable price. I was really looking for a John Deere but I ran across this and the price seemed to be okay. Does anyone have experience with this planter?

are you interested in selling these? if so how much ?

Hi Barry, How was you pumpkin, Indian corn and moms harvest last fall?

Indian corn was pretty much a bust. Very wet, a lot of the corn was moldy.

Pumpkins were good, not great. Again very cool wet summer in michigan.

Mums were good (same as above).

I now am also harvesting chickens.

Now why didn't I think of that. I always have a heck of a time matching seeds to the plates on my model 71 JD planter. The little sweet corn seeds on some of the supersweets don't seem to have any plate that matches up.
