Paul: sounds like you are having some fun, waiting and thinking about your new "tool"! Just reading about this is almost as neat as doing it yourself, minus all the cost and labor. Of course, next winter, when you are cruising over the snow, listening to tunes and wearing a tee shirt, most of us will be trying to keep the sleet out of our eyes and wishing for spring. Looking forward to more pictures, when you have it home.

Thanks my buddy. Ya it's a pile of work to do the change over and then while that's going on I'm coming up with more ideas but it's something I enjoy doing. I'll get plenty of pics on here next week. Right now I'm preoccupied on another member to the stable. I call it the wife's car and she calls it mine. 2012 5.0 Loaded.

Very nice

Thank you very much!

Thanks. Well I don't think there are many of us on here that one time or another said we would like a little more power. It was hard to justify getting rid of a pampered 200 hour tractor that has never seen dirt but my dealer who I know very well and I do repairs for the owner of that Kubota dealer gave me a trade I couldn't refuse so I took it.

As it turned out when I went to order the new Mustang the dealerships manager who is a friend of mine ended up buying my tractor so it got traded and bought the same day and never ever went back to the dealer so everyone won. I did have a few guys say "I wish I had known" :( :D

To tell the truth It took me a few hours to get the nerve to tell her what I did but you know what they say. "Its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission"

Well she's used to me after 30 years. Thanks for commenting. Here's the wife's 30th anniversary mustang ;) I even had custom 30th anniversary decals done for the occasion.

Cool! I can see how this is going to work out. She can use the tractor in the summer ( I'll use the Mustang). Then when winter comes she can use the mustang and I'll have the tractor. Hum. Somehow I don't think
This is going to go the way I'd like it to go  :(

Nope! Sorry, Pearl or Diamond. Don't know that Kubota has a pearl finish in their paint selection so you have to go with a Diamond Plate floorboard or sunroof!

Just a guess on my part; but I'd say that pretty new Mustang is Paul's secret project he hinted at in another post earlier this year.

Not a problem. Got that base covered. Yes sir. I'm not as dumb as I look :(. The paint on the car is Candy Red " PEARL". Yep. It's all still good
Now when it comes to checkered plate I've been known to use it from time to time so you got some good ideas there ;)

Nothing worst than a buddy who don't forget anything  That project was and still is tractor related. The only differance is it won't be happening to the 4240 but will for the 5740. I have some "special" components on order for it now. I haven't seen it done like this on a Grand L before ;)
