Also while spending other folks money like I did mine, you need a UTV like my Kubota RTV to save your legs from lots of steps, haul small stuff like small rocks, dirt, trimmed limbs etc. I cant really believe that we got by on the farm as a kid without a utility vehicle BUT we did. Probably the reason my hips are worn out now from all that walking. We didn't have a backhoe either and that is another thing I cant do without now.

My main problem with UTVs is than I can get an old CJ that can go almost anywhere one of them can, and can go down the road as well, for less money.

PHPaul that Deere is pretty neat. Does it articulate to turn I've never seen that before. Nice collection.

That's a Pasquali 986. Some bozo previous owner painted it in faux Deere colors. I've since re-painted it Kubota Orange, as it should be...

Full articulation both yaw and roll. Single cylinder 20 hp Lombardini diesel, 9 speeds (3x3). Absolute tank.

Low-Low and WOT, a 6 month old baby could out-drag it. High-High and it'll do 20 MPH down the road if you're brave enough. I'm not, that middle joint steering gets squirrelly fast.

Can't say it is an absolute need, but at times it's handy to have two tractors. Our little Ford has been living here since 1992. The plan was to sell it when we got the first Kubota in 2002. Didn't happen then or in 2012 when the original Kubota was replaced with a larger one.

The Ford handles chores like the sprayer, york rake, homebrew leaf blower, etc while the Kubota does FEL, mowing and snow removal. The Ford also spends winters at the church where it excels at scraping the snow off the sidewalks and at times helps the Kubota in the parking lots. It was used a good part of last summer at a relative's place so I could mow there while he wasn't able to.

There are times I think it would be fun to have something like a MF 135, but it would be hard to part with the Ford. It would be hard for me to justify three tractors on 3-1/2 acres. But then, if one of them were spending a substantial amount of time away from home..............
