Wow...all this takes me back to all the "first day" things I did wrong.
How about clearing the barn overhead beam on a "press-fit" basis with the top of the ROPS? I know for sure it was a press-fit, by the way.

Yeah, well, I am the guy that cut the header out from above the shed door to gain the three inches of clearance I needed to squeeze the gc2600 in there! (I reinforced the roof rafters over the door, of course. I just love seeing that look on people's faces when I tell them I took the sawzall to the header!)

Lets see-100 hours so far and bent my BB cause I got stuck in a hole, hit the side of the shed wall three times with the FEL. Forgot to read the owner manual which tells you to put the PTO shield in the down position when using rear attachments. Bent the rear blinker against my ceder fense. Hit the garage trim with the FEL, hit the BBQ grill with the rear BH.

I think thats all I can remember.

You need to drive away from your hydraulic attachment without disconnecting the hoses to get expedited entry into the club.

Or you need to drive all the way back to the barn with your round bale having fallen off your rear bale spear in the field. Extra points for having done this AND if you get off your tractor and get back on to open gates and not notice.

I once had a helper who managed to have a wheel driven hay rake come loose in a dip in the field on the away back to the barn. I had seen it there and had to have a little (well a lot) of fun with him. He couldn't see the rake in the dip and was absolutely baffled as to what happened to the rake. I was joking with him that he could not have raked the field without a rake, that he just went round and round and I would have to dock him pay and charge him for the fuel. He honestly thought he was losing his mind for a while. Now it is a regular joke very time we see each other.
