I've still got a Dodge Challenger so I guess I'll keep the Dodge Man moniker. I noticed on the ride home it did shift more than the Cummins.

I would hope it shifts at least two more times than the Cummins;). 4-spd vs 6-spd

If it weren't for still owning other mopars, you could change your SN to 'The artist formerly known as dodge man'. *grin*

Kind of off dodge man's topic but here goes: what is it about those GM trucks where one daytime running light is always out on those? I have a couple of friends who always have one or the other burned out.
Nice looking ride dodge man. I've always been a Ford guy but every now and then I do catch myself looking at the new Ram 2500.

Congrats on the truck Dave.
For those with Chevy's, here's a follow up on JJZ's off topic. Last week while washing my truck I noticed one of the driving lights was loose. I suspect daily vibration from driving would have eventually shaken the bulb filament loose which may be why so many Chevy's have a running light out. I put it on the lift to tighten the bolts but found there are none. The entire lens assy. is snapped in with 3 plastic clips and the bulb snaps in the back. I added some rubber wedges in three places to hopefully prevent premature failure.

You have good taste in trucks Dave, wish I had one just like it. Rather have a root canal than go prom dress shopping though 😉

Well hope the trade of was good. Not the trucks the prom dress shopping after truck shopping

Nice truck! That 6.0 should last you for thousands and thousands of trouble free miles. They're basically bomb proof. I think my next truck is going to be a 3/4 gas mainly because they've ruined 1/2 tons for me with all the gadgetry like AFM and other nonsense. The 3/4 ton trucks also seem to be a better value compared to 1/2 trucks in my opinion.

Well I guess congratulations but you will miss that Cummins. Shame you went to the dark side.

Like the old saying goes....

The Lord builds Chevy's to keep informed prople from buying Ford's and Dodges....

My opinion is I'd never buy anything Obama Motors. GM should give every man and woman a new vehicle for free in payment for the bailout.
