In the mass produced world we live in it's wonderful to see that some people can still create such things with their hands.

Good grief, that stuff from Conley is great too. Foothills Rancher said it best in his post.

A couple of years ago at the Alameda county Fair I saw a display of small scale operating engines.

I was mesmerized watching a miniature Model A Ford engine along with transmission run... it was so smooth that I could almost count the fan revolutions as it ran.

The whole display was mounted on a 6" x 12" board

Amazing! Did you see that the Coyote was started in 1964 and ran first in 1995...that is some dedication!

The Stinger 609 from Conley works out to be a 390 cubic inch engine if it were scaled up 4-times. In spite of You Tube's less than stellar audio and video quality, the Stinger 609 sure sounded like an American V8, albeit with a slightly higher pitch.

Way cool... What I'd personally like would be a 1/4 or 1/6th scale CAT 3406 or some other Deisel engine...
