No rifles allowed for deer in Ma. Shotguns only.
I think the law I linked to said rifles had the magazine restrictions. Didn't see anything about handguns.
antiquated rules.. might as well specify matchlock only...
Actually, shotgun restrictions are generally for urban areas since a slug wont carry as far as a high power rifle bullet. Same rule here in GA in the counties near Atlanta due to population density.
