I thought the Tyranny fluid was intentional and pretty funny!

Sometimes the unintentional puns are the most enjoyable. Especially for those with a dry sense of humor.

Getting to "know" your local gun store owner is invaluable, IMO. It's nice to have him close in a pinch and if we bought everything at the big stores there wouldn't be a little guy nearby.

We are from a small rural town so maybe my idea of "a gun store" is different than what you would see in a larger metropolitan area.

You know what, you just reminded me, the owner of a local Ace Hardware chain just opened a "Gun and Gift" store in Keystone Heights, about 13 miles north of me. Their Ace stores are kind of an exception to the local mom and pop stores; they have good prices, generally very good selection. Heck, their feed is cheaper than TSC. I might have to stop in.

It's this stupid program on my phone that changes my words

It does it on my phone too.

You type something and go back and read it and just have to think.. good grief why does it do that..

Knowing his phone probably did it.. and mine does it too, I knew he was saying 'eds' red and not ends.. and tranny as well.

but I did have one of those funny thoughts.

tyranny fluid could be from a tyranosaur right? tyranosaur fluid.

I'm not milking that thing.. YOU go milk it. ;)

Do y'all order powders or do they stock it near you. I think some of the bass pro sell it, but if you have to pay the Haz Mat it gets pretty expensive for small amounts. Primers are stocked at Academy, and projectiles (maybe not a huge selection, but at least something in most calibers)

I have an old Lee Classic in .270 Win, and I've seen some Lee presses for cheap, some even with dies for less than $50 used (although rarely ever in one of My calibers...), it just seems like there's no Trying it, even with a free/cheap press without being into it for a couple hundred,

Powder Valley has some of the best prices. Usually have to place a big order or go in with several other folks (like people in gun club etc.) so you can split the HAZMAT fee.

I have 2 Hornady Lock-n-load progressive presses. Definitely way faster than a single stage press. I used to have the old Hornady progressive press, but I didn't like it. Hornady had a credit towards the new Lock-n-load if you mailed in the other press. I think the first Lock-n-load only cost me about $70, and I liked it so much I bought a second one. Now I don't have to change them from large or small pistol primers, I load most of my pistol calibers on those. I load the small caliber rifle and my match grade pistol ammo on the RCBS. Then I have a Redding ultra mag for the difficult to resize stuff. It has a lot better leverage and isn't as tiring as the RCBS although I like the RCBS better.

I have a LNL that's tricked out with about everything you can get on it (I don't have their electronic stuff on it) but I was kind of shocked that they didn't design the bullet feeder system to easily change from pistol to rifle. I searched the web looking for info on how to switch from the pistol feeder to rifle feeder and when I couldn't find anything I called them up and confirmed the rifle and pistol bullet feeder are mutually exclusive. Normally they are on top of things but I was disappointed this was an area they obviously didn't think about.

A friend has a Dillon 650 and 1050 and he's got the Mr. Bullet Feeder on the 1050 and it will to pistol and rifle bullets So I was kind of thinking about the Mr. Bullet feeder but lately I've been thinking of just getting a second Hornady LNL and deck it out for rifle and use the other one for just pistol stuff. I need a bigger reloading room :)

I'd lil a bigger reload room and more desk space too! :)

Nickel plated cases are often associated with die scratching problems. Small particles of the hard nickel plating may be present from trimming and/or deburring operations and can find their way inside the dies.

Yea, I've got a friend that has that problem. He isn't a clean freak like me. Never cleans his guns or dies. I have ultrasonic cleaner and don't have any problems. For high production stuff (like .223 / .308 etc.) I have the Dillon Carbide die. Not cheap!
