4410 JD 2600hrs, 245 MF unknown, was in a fire, F-935 JD 2200 hrs. 1990 Dodge 750000 kms, 1998 dodge 430000 kms, 1947 IHC KB-1 55000 miles, 2001 Jetta 440000 kms, 2001 Jetta 310000kms, 2014 Jetta 275000 kms, 2008 Grizzly 700 8500 kms, that's vehicles we still drive.

2002 Jetta 465000 kms, 1984 Buick 420000 kms, 955 JD 2700 hrs. 1986 Suburban 600000 kms, 1996 Astro 450000 kms, 1972 Beetle 200000 miles, 1980 Chev pickup 500000 kms. There's some other vehicles that I've forgotten about but these are the honorable mentions.

I'm not nice to my vehicles. As a rule they don't get idled a lot to warm them up in winter. I don't baby them but they get fairly regular maintenance. The 2002 Jetta kissed a deer and the 955 was traded off. The rest dropped dead. None of the vehicles that we don't drive anymore got synthetic oil with the exception of the Jetta. I just switched to synthetic because I wanted one oil for everything.

For the 50th post

How many folks that use synthetic oil keep their car/truck/tractor until it drops dead?
I will use synthetic until I drop dead, the tractor will keep on going long after that.

+1
I expect my engines to run as long as the rest of the vehicle is standing. I put a pile of miles on my DD and expect it to get me to work each day. The truck needs to tow when I need it. and The dump truck is just cool and I want that 7.3L to last forever.

That is a strong claim that needs to be supported, can you do that?

Ya I can.

I ran to Walmart yesterday and paid $22.99 each for gallons of Mobile 1. I've been an Amsoil dealer and user since 1985, but your not to going buy Amsoil today at a price anywhere near Walmart's Mobile 1 deal.

Conversely... Pep Boys sells that same Mobile 1 for $41.99 a gallon.

BWhahahhahhahahhahahhahah Now that is funny.
SO let's do the math shall we?
Walmart 5 quarts 22.99 You have to pay tax of 6% and at least $2.00 in gas give or take. totals $26.40 at least an hour of your time driving etc, ( JUST STANDING IN LINE AT WALMART)@ $35.00 an hour.
Amsoil 5 quarts 27.25.

And what was your comment....OH I KNOW, "Amsoil today at a price anywhere near Walmart's Mobile 1 deal."
So for a WHOPPING EIGHT EIGHT cents minust your time is considered ANYWHERE NEAR Bwhahahhahahahhahahah
Including your time you paid twice for Mobil 1 what you buy from Amsoil DELIVERED to your front door.

That is not supporting your claim, not even close. Flashpoint, how does this support your claim of "Amsoil beats anything Rotells, Mobil1, Quaker State, Royal prurple by far."?

Typical flash points of diesel engine oil run in the 425 to 460 degree F range with synthetics coming in at 450 degrees F and up. So, what real daily use value does flashpoint have and how does Amsoil's higher flashpoint make it better "by far"?

I am a newbie here, signed up cause I just bougnt a tractor. I have been using Amsoil for almost 40 years now. Quite simply, it is the best, period. Yes it is expensive... so what I did, and suggest is that I became a dealer, years ago, then would buy bulk for ALL my equipment, motorcycles, trucks, cars you name it, at dealers prices. I live in Hawaii, so I buy enough to last me 2 or 3 years, as, yes, you add the extended interval EA filters, (and I use a bypass filter system, your stock filter plus a large EA filter), and I go a couple years without a change. The oil is so good, that a lot of times, once I change it, I will use the old oil, and run it in my riding lawnmower, pressure washer etc. You might want to figure out who lives close by whom, and one guy signs up to be a dealer, then everyone runs there order through them, and everyone wins. 30 years ago, Amsoil would tell you, you dont have to change oil until 50K, then I think they realized, that they werent selling very much oil, so then they went to the 1 yr. or 15K, and let me tell you, you can run it a lot longer than that if you want, just change the filter, top it off, and your go to go.

This stuff was invented back when we had the war with Germany. The tanks wouldn't turn over during the sub zero temps. Same with airplane engines, 112' on the tarmack, sub zero temps at 35K feet.? They were the first... synthetic oil, been around ever since. HARLEY DAVIDSON SYNTHETIC OIL... harley went to them and had them make it for them, and slap Harley Davidson on it. So there you go, simply the best you can use. Just have to figurenout howntonget it at a good price, as. Your right, I wont go and buy it retail, mtheynjust ask too much for it. But wholesale dealer prices are MUCH better

Welcome.

You made an unsupported claim. Why is Amsoil "the best" over competitors? What is the return on investment using their product compared to using other brands of the same type?
