Amsoil HD 5W40?

I order Amsoil right from Amsoil no one else is taking a cut. But if you buy any other oil, you go from the manufacturer to a jobber, to a wholesaler, to the ratail store, so three people have their hands in it....or as you say "all those other hands taking a cut of the profits." It's fake news that Amsoil does not direct sell.

I ran to Walmart yesterday and paid $22.99 each for gallons of Mobile 1. I've been an Amsoil dealer and user since 1985, but your not to going buy Amsoil today at a price anywhere near Walmart's Mobile 1 deal.

Conversely... Pep Boys sells that same Mobile 1 for $41.99 a gallon.

What痴 the opinion on Amsoil HD 5W40? Local Hardware store carries it. Can be had cheaper than Rotella T6 5W40.

$13.50 a QUART and Amzoil id $8.25 a quart NO TAX, NO FUEL to go get it.

So please keep up with the FAKE NEWS that Amsoil is more money that Rotella.

I can buy Rotella T6 right now at TSC for $54.99 in 2.5 gallon jugs - works out to $5.83 per quart with tax. I usually wait until it's on sale and get it considerably cheaper than that, especially if I've got my 10% reward at the time or if Shell running a rebate, the cost per quart is considerably cheaper even more. I usually keep 30 gallons (2 oil changes) on hand, so I don't have to buy at full retail.

My TSC is only 5 miles away and I usually drive past it every day while doing my errands so I'm not figuring in fuel costs.

This is simply not true. Walmart price for Rotella T6 is $22. You can buy it many places for this price or lower. I usually buy it at Menards when it's on sale for around $19, and there are seasonal rebates on top of that. My normal price for Rotella is then $15 - $17 per gallon. That's fine that you love Amsoil but there's no reason to spread false claims about other brands.

Rotella T-6 5w-40 is on sale at blains farm and fleet for $20.49 per gal.I run amsoil in my truck and car though.Good oil IMHO.
