Andrew Camarata

this is very good but no wonder that rv slide didn't work when he got to the top.
Those rv frames and slides aren't that strong. I love his comment about the
slide after he forced it out: "it's never coming in again"
I've had the same slide controller fail on my on a Jabsco trailer so this all looked very familiar.
Lippert has made some real junk in the past, not sure if they have improved.

I'm surprised he whined about not having hooks on this truck when he could have welded them on himself.
And clearly should have after he wrecked his bumper doing this. Ram supposedly is only one of big three with full frame rails
all the way out to front bumper, so with hooks on them, very strong setup. Kind of surprised he didn't reinforce that winch arrangement.
Bet he works on that this winter.

On older trucks like that Ford and Chevy had frame mounted tow hooks. I can’t say for sure what the newer ones are like. I’m not sure why he didn’t just hitch the camper on the dozer and leave the truck out of the mix.

That's the question I had as well.

He pretty much destroyed the four year old trailer.

The truck was destroyed many episodes ago, but it’s close to be finished off now. The next episode will probably include him dissing Ram over their build quality if his past episodes predict the future.

What’s he doing to winterize the trailer? Probably nothing, then he’ll be fixing the plumbing with his chainsaw.

Notice how his buddy had to restrain him from ripping out the cabinetry to access the slide control? Chainsaw probably wasn’t handy, luckily.

Once more lives up to his reputation of being a hack.

I don't think you know how this works...

He got the trailer up the mountain and not very many people could have. It looks like a success to me. I’m sure it didn’t do the trailer any favors but I didn’t see any apparent damage. The slides getting stuck are pretty common even if they haven’t been abused.

How is he going to get up to the camper, once there's two feet of snow on his logging road, and his sleds are up at the top, like he stated?

Looks like a nice spot to camp, but I don't see how this is going to work too well.

Yeah, but that's just how he is, and look how it's working out. Probably making hundreds of thousands from youtube, financing a bunch of new toys, his container castle, and a care free lifestyle. C'mon admit it, you're kinda jealous. 🤪

He'd better bring one sled with him. I've done this in the Catskills with both ATVs and snowmobiles and snowmobile
is way better. But it seems we have much less snow now, which is why I sold my sled and bought an ATV and then a UTV.
Walking a mile uphill in the mountains carrying stuff through a foot or more of snow, is a good way to get a heart attack.

My nephew just bought a lot of land outside of Woodstock, not too far away, and I sent him the link to this guy.

I knew Andrew had strange taste in things when I saw him driving a Mitsubishi suv. Likely bought it because it was cheap, in the early days...
yes, this channel is making him six figures a year and with that he gets to have a lot of fun.
He's a brute force guy but watch him clear the pad for this trailer and you know he's happy on a dozer.

Having owned several rvs, I have to tell you this was really cringe worthy. It was a higher end Jayco rv with a nice setup inside.
A couple of times I really thought he was going to scrape a big tree with it.

would need a specialty hitch I think for dozer to pick up a 2 5/8 ball unless he just wrapped it all up in chains and geez would that scratch
it all to bits. Well for Andrew, that's just one more can of spray Rustoleum.

that ground up in the mountains moves around during the freezing and thawing and if he
doesn't install better foundations under those rv supports, I can see those concrete blocks falling over and that would likely
truly wreck the rv.
or...
well I guess I won't be driving it out of here :sneaky:

He'd better get a much bigger gen too.

An RV doesn’t need much electric power aside from running the air conditioning which he won’t be needing. That’s plenty of generator for the job.

agreed, if he uses only propane for heat. That runs out pretty quickly though I'm sure
Andrew can haul a 1000 gal tank up there with an earthmover for the next episode.

He doesn’t seem to mind the cold. A 1500 watt space heater would probably be plenty. I mean who in their right mind builds an unheated shop in upstate New York when the budget is of no concern?

Sounds like jealousy to me.
I don’t tear up my equipment, and certainly don’t respect those that do.

I don’t baby it either, though.

I mostly stay away from used equipment because there are so many hacks Lin Andrew out there.

I mostly quit watching his videos, but was a little preoccupied the other night and this one popped up while I was focusing on something else. Thought I would give him another chance. Big mistake.

I quit after the chainsaw assisted radio installation incident.

The radio deal was clearly a ploy for views.

Probably, but it hurt to watch.

I don’t do demolition derbies, either.

If I could make six figures doing videos, you can bet I'd be doing it.

You totally can! Just need to do semi-crazy **** almost every day, film every second of it, have a couple people to also film from various angles, get good at flying a drone for the aerial video shots, and then stay up late every night editing your daily masterpiece.

I remember when Andrew used to make simple videos about constructing gravel driveways. And when whistlin diesel just did burnouts on banana peels in his stock Duramax. Then the youtube money starts flowing and things get weird.

I do find a lot of the keyboard warriors funny. It's real easy to sit and bash a guy for how he does things, but few have the work ethic this man does. His work sites are left spotless, he doesn't leave trash anywhere, he actually cares about the final product not just the pay or the views, etc. If you ever see videos of him working on his excavation equipment, you will see he takes utmost care and the repairs last. When it comes to his work truck, he's less careful because it just needs to go from point a to point b, period. He never hacked at his daily Mitsu or either of his dump trucks.

You don't like how he does things, watch, or don't watch, he doesn't care. He's got over a million subscribers and never asked for a single one. I was taught if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything. If it's not helpful nor constructive then it's useless.

I guess if working that hard while shooting videos that seem to attract fans as well as keyboard cowboys was easy, everyone would do it.
I also live in New York and do all the repairs on my equipment outside. Yes, not even in a shop, so the fact the man doesn't heat his shop makes sense to me, he's out of the wind and weather, that's the important part.

Loaderman, I hear you, but I also think he's pretty hard on his equipment. He ripped the front off his Dodge unnecessarily and
just smashed in the front of his nice dump truck because he didn't follow safety procedures. He works on steep slopes all the time
and should know better. Some folks use jackstands and others don't. All good until someone gets hurt.

I think he's pretty good with the winch on the back of his dozer. I know nothing about dozers but are those treads pretty worn?

My nephew bought a big property outside of Woodstock, not far from this guy, and I told him to check out Camarata for landscaping work.

watching his dog chomp on the thin ice was fun.
