That may be what I saw it on. Other things demand my limited funds so it's pretty far down the list of things to purchase.

I have forklift envy. A set of forks for the loader has been on my list for a while, but after seeing your project(s) it has moved up on my list of things to do.

Why not? With your hoe and wheel weights, you'd have plenty of counterweight...

Counterweight wouldn't be my concern. I have found for loader work, I much prefer the HST of my other tractor. It also has power steering... running the Beaver today with a full load of wood up front reminded me that Strong Arm is not as much fun. 
Another issue is that backhoe adds a fair piece of length to the tractor. I have to constantly be looking behind me if I'm in tight quarters to be certain I don't take something out with it. Today it would have been the nose of my pickup. Box blade on the other tractor doesn't stick out that far and I've found it better for the sake of maneuvering.
I have given some thought to how I could build things such that whatever I built/bought could be shared between tractors. I'd like it if I could share the grapple or snow plow though the blade really is too short for the other tractor. Same would be true for pallet forks.

cleaned up some horrible apple trees on my fence line since the neighbor wont take care of them... the forks sure make brush clean up so easy!

Cleaning up stuff like that is where a grapple shines. Well, one of the areas. I spent some time yanking bushes out of the ground last weekend. One scoop with the grapple and all were enroute to the rot pile.
