The best place to dirt bike without leaving traces!
Bruce
Back in the day, thats what my riding buddy would say, as i kicked his ***** on thru the gears, then on the straight away, i'd hear the 4 stroke coming closer and closer, then pass me by.good times!
For those of us that live in CT finding a place to ride is always a challenge. Dirt Bikes and ATVs are not allowed anywhere on State Property so we need to find Private Property. The State does require an Off Road Registration for your dirt bike. I don't see how riding the power lines or old logging roads hurts anyone. As long as you are not damaging private property..
Much of this thread has been devoted to the fact that the dirt bikes, ATV's, UTV's, 4x4's, Hummers etc. damage private property with repeated usage.<snip> I don't see how riding the power lines or old logging roads hurts anyone. As long as you are not damaging private property.

In CT too many people think State Property is for their own exclusive enjoyment. They do not like to share.
I used to ride in State Property leased to a local corn farmer. If you stayed out of his fields he would leave you alone. He was known to keep a shotgun loaded with rock salt. At 40 yards it wouldn't kill you but could hurt like ****. This was back in the 80s before everyone got so litigious. If you complained to the cops the would give you a ticket for trespassing and impound your bike.
