I had a half day to work on the barn, so without any help I didn't dare to climb on the roof but I was able to finish the framing for windows and door. Also, did some eave work.

Question: are you installing any steel inside the lean-on, under the roof and sides, maybe build a ceiling? If yes can you post some pictures.

Didn't update the thread for a while. Being busy with the hunting season and be just a weekend warrior as you can see the barn is not done. Hope 2 more weekends and I'll be done.

Looks good. A nice fieldstone wall to the outside of the shed would look good and keep the pad from washing away. :2cents:

Looks good. I would have never picked that color for the walls, but seeing it in your pictures, I really like it!!!!!

Hard to tell, what color is the roof? Is it white? OR galvalume? or something else?

Looks similar to the color on mine, but I did the dark green rim and roof.

I was torn, I liked the light brown with dark brown trim and roof, as well as green trim. Left it up to the wife and she chose green trim.

Really nice work. That barn looks great. I'm curious, what are you using to cut/shear your side-wall metal?

After 4 months of weekends work, the barn is 99% complete:); still have to install the gaskets around the garage doors and some screws. Overall, very happy how it looks and at a total cost of 14K I don't have any complain. The idea of building a fieldstone around is making waves, in special the stones are widely available on our fields (too bad that are not flat styles but round stones will do the job). Here are some pictures. Thanks for looking and thanks for ideas.

Already, planning forward for a new project: our retirement house build in ICF...
