Me, too. Love those shows, lot's of interesting theories out there.

Yeah. Lots of theories. And the truth is ancient Men were the ones who worked and moved the stones. and Modern men are too stupid and inept to even figure out how they did it. Sure there are a few modern men that can figure it out, but where is the money in making documentaries in that? You don't need no "stinking aliens" to move huge stones and do stone work. Ancient men were very capable of doing a lot of things that seem to mystify modern people for some reason.

Here is an example of some of the engineering we have lost in just 100 years. I had a model 15 teletype at one time. It was designed around 1915. It was an electromechanical marvel. I used to take its cover off an look at its modular pieces and wonder how in the he77 did people design and build such complexity. Grandpa weren't no dummy. Neither were men from 4000 years ago. They were every bit as sharp as our finest modern minds if not more so.

We just look at things differently. We look at at a problem and our solution is electronics and computing power. 100 years ago they looked at a problem, and thought "how can we make pawl A trip lever B and how much spring tension will we need.

...Ancient men were very capable of doing a lot of things that seem to mystify modern people for some reason...
Look at some pictures of hand made stone projectile points (arrow, spear heads etc.)...there is hardly a better historical record of progressive/regressive human craftsmanship...

The very earliest examples are extremely crude and not much more than pointed shards of stone...progress through time and witness the intricate, almost symmetrical perfection of highly shaped later points...continue ahead through time and you'll see that starting about 5k years ago the the art form started to decline...until we get to some projectile points that are merely a couple of hundred years old and we see crudely shaped points as well as many reworked points form earlier times...

LoL...Good luck to nyc in their effort to prove fault...The ONLY way it could happen is for corrupt judges/juries to falsely make awards...it's literally impossible to prove...
The case is moot...the only reason it's news is because nyc is using it as a way of getting publicity for removing oil stocks from their pension funds...i.e., a quasi-political statement...

BTW...why didn't the article you cited about glaciers mention the fact that 90% of the planet's glaciers are growing...NOT shrinking or melting??

Cite! That is the purest BS so far in this thread. And it has to a respectable thread, not Breitbart or similar.

And don't you agree, that is a very good thing?

Not for the farmers or people relying on snow melt for water down stream next summer.

That article states "Glaciers in Montana's Glacier Park on the verge of growing ".

This article (Global Climate Change, Melting Glaciers) states "So far, the results have been positively chilling. When President Taft created Glacier National Park in 1910, it was home to an estimated 150 glaciers. Since then the number has decreased to fewer than 30, and most of those remaining have shrunk in area by two-thirds. Fagre predicts that within 30 years most if not all of the park's namesake glaciers will disappear."

Can both articles be correct? This is just one example showing the Internet is a sewer. It's full of info turds to "prove" anybody's opinion.

No, both sides cannot be correct in that case. Al;l it takes is a trip to Glacier park to SEE that the glaciers jusst aren't there anymore and what few are there are diminutive remnants of what they used to be.

Claiming they are growing when any person can see that aren't is about as stupid as it gets.

Sorry to inform you...it's not BS...it a cold hard fact (no pun intended)...
...Now the 90% figure may no longer be spot on...but there are a good number of glaciers all over the world that ARE GROWING...!

And before you go shooting another messenger because you don't like the message hear this from a USGA.GOV site:
Hubbard Glacier is defying the global paradigm of valley or mountain glacier shrinkage and retreat in response to global climate warming. Hubbard Glacier is the largest of eight calving glaciers in Alaska that are currently increasing in total mass and advancing...

I'm not sure which flavour is best but after completing a Jasper to Lake Louise bicycle jaunt the three banana splits following a full course meal with two enties was rather enjoyable!

Well...we know for sure that one side has been (without any doubt) proven to lie and misconstrue data to bolster their position...so currently we have one side that is unproven and one side that is proven to lie and misinform...yet some blindly believe in and put 100% of their faith in the proven liars...some of us have doubts...

Soooo -- ------ Detail the lying with proven references that can be looked at. Braying at the Moon just does not cut it!
