Would love to see the plans for this, I am hoping to build a small tractor using a vw engine and parts for general house work and getting in firewood. Any tips would be greatly appericiated.

Thanks
Jim

I'm eager to see the tractor for house work. I may just help sweep the floors and do dishes more often if I could do it with a tractor.

Welcome to the forum, by the way. There are a few good tractor builds. This thread is one of the more professional builds, but there are a lot of others with some very good ideas.

Welcome to TBN Jim.

I suspect the plans are all done with SWAGCAD and are stored on a soft gray matter drive. :D

I FOUND IT!!! My Wife says there IS a HOUSE TRACTOR!!!

It is a mysterious 2 wheeled tractor called a VACK-YOOM. it is kind of like turf maintenance or mowing. It grooms the floors. And it has ATTACHMENTS such as an "Furniture Brush", "Corner nozzle", "Agitator" and other devices! She said it harvests "Dust Bunnies" (Must be some kind of livestock???).

She has promised to show me how to use it and get me some "Handle Time"

I will post pics later!
Gotta go learn how to use the "House Tractor"!!!!
:D:D:D

I've heard of those. Any I've seen are all electric. I'm waiting for the diesel model to come out.

You guys are killing me:laughing::laughing:. Believe it or not, Jim, you've got off on the right foot with that one.:D:thumbsup::thumbsup: Allow me to add my welcome to you.:)

P.S. - Can someone instruct me on the process of quoting from multiple posts? I've seen it done but am clueless about how it's done:(:ashamed::confused2:

David, remember what the doctor said. Take it easy on that surgery rehab. Get a note from the doc for your wife. I would avoid any handle time for a year or so.

I right-click "Quote" and select to open them in secondary tabs, and then copy/paste them back into the main reply.

Easier way is; for the posts you want to quote click on the
multiquote_off.gif
(bottom right of post) so that it changes to this
multiquote_on.gif
(you can toggle on and off posts)
newreply.php
then just hit

I guess these things need to be made more obvious.I deal with forums, and have for years,so I guess I never really thought about it.That being said. I still find myself multi quoting using copy and code method.

OK, this is a practice session to see if any of it is penetrating this thick old skull of mine!:D

We're all very proud of you.

Of course I feel bad for pirating the thread. I have no doubt given the quality of design and workmaship that rawinok2 could build a housework tractor if he had the motivation.

The culpability on the pirating issue got spread around quite a bit after a while.:ashamed: As for motivation, this may have provided it.:licking:;)

rawinok2:

It has just occurred to me; you are going to have a real problem when you get this all finished.:( It's too bad you built just one.:D If you had built two, you could keep one of them clean, bright and shiny like this one is now, while you get the other one scratched up and dirty.:laughing:. I applaud your workmanship and careful attention to detail:thumbsup::thumbsup:
