I don't think the "tit for tat" approach is a good one. Might be funny at the start, its childish and belongs in the school yard.....and really doesn't belong there either. In this case use the high road and the law. Eventually the you'll find a lawman(which ever agency) who will see thru the crap and make it his own business. He WILL finish it. I've seen it happen.

Reminiscent of the the Hatfield–McCoy feud (1863–91).

no property is not fenced (yet). And the hatfield-mccoy show was great. the tit for tat theory is fun to think about but this guy is a sociopath and will retaliate to the point that I don't want top go to. Right now the law is dealing with him and his various wrongdoings that he thought were ok for a long time. The lord says don't let the devil steal your joy and this jerk won't do that to us.

Thanks all.

I like your attitude. If the time ever does come to take action, it will be very clear that you were NOT the oppressor.

Re: Another Ahole Neighbor Question

There's the law which takes time is is never 100% fair, let's face it.
Whatever you do it stealthy. He dumped the fish stealthy, because you can not say 100% for a fact that he did it. Obviously no one saw him do it. So any "retaliation" must be as fitting. Now I'm NOT condoning retaliation or taking the law in your own hands. BUT we all know certain things work better and faster than the law.

I know of a guy who's neighbor planted two ficus trees right up against the shared block wall. The ficus tree was samll but they shortly grow to 50ft tall and 30-40ft around. Which would bring the tree 15' into his tiny back yard.

His solution. Every night at 2am he dumped gallons of weed killer on the roots of the growing tree. Soon the tree was dead and the soil was deemed useless for any further plantings.

I think you could make a FISH LAUNCHER.

The end result, the one tree on the far side did grow to those dimensions and now two other neighbors are in an ongoing fight "legally" because the tree is breaking the block wall, ruining the view, and dropping leaves in their poor.

My friend has no problems, no legal issues, still has a great view and his pool is leaf free.

Moral of the story, there are two ways to handle all problem neighbors.

Re: Another Ahole Neighbor Question

I have just read the entire thread, I don't know anything about property laws in the U.S. From what I have seen on T.V the police don't tolerate B/S and idiots in the states (T.V show called Cops) We are just soooo lucky to have great neighbors, He came to our place at the weekend and invited us for dinner. We had fresh spanner crabs and prawns, and of course plenty of beers, neighbor is a pro fisherman, had a great evening plenty of B/S as well as good food:laughing: We both were somewhat hung over next morning.I mow his grass and keep an eye on things when he is away working. Our other neighbor has a D3b Cat and often does small jobs for me at mates rates, slabs of beers.:drink: I guess it takes all sorts but it's a shame some are a...holes.:irked:
