While some may not agree with me that human life is more valuable than any other living thing that God created, that is my belief.

If this is not what you believe, I trust you will never use an antibiotic or antiseptic. After all, shouldn't bacteria and germs be allowed to flourish in their natural habitat?.....................chim

I would bet the proverbial dollar against the proverbial hole in the donut they can't say the same thing about handgun accidents in the last four years.

And please note this is one persons thirty four years of memory. The actual fact of the matter might be that a bear hasn't killed a person in that area for a century or more.

Anyone want to make a bet on just what the real threat to one's safety in that area really is? Wild beasts or fools with handguns?

Ah, there's the rub! I live in the forest surrounded by bear, moose, deer, coyotes, fisher cats, etc...and it's the occasional armed fool that scares me the most. I actually had a Masshole lock and load on a three month old golden retriever pup who was tottering over to greet him, and was perceived as "barking in an aggressive manner."

Don't know about that - I've seen a lot of humans (murderers, pedophiles, rapists etc) who are a LOT less deserving of life than an animal!!!!

Good point gerard, guess I should have clarified what I consider humans. The types you mentioned, I put on a level far below animals.
