interesting, I was kind of thinking that was the design, I could see it cutting across and digging in little by little but was thinking maybe like an offset disk and wonder what that would grade like with the two blades opposing - pull harder I would suspect - yes the gate would be nice to dump rather than lift the 3 point - one way vs another unloads material but with yours you continue to cut/level as you are dumping - makes sense........

have you used it much yet, how do you like the function ?

Have a half mile drive ofd the highway to the house. Previous owner of the land still runs his dog here, says the road hasn't looked that good in years. Haven't had the need to use the gate closed but tried it on a short section. Scrapes clean, deposits finely where wanted. Went back to undo my experiment, put the material back . The real test will be when we get a few truckloads of gravel.

Curiosity got the best of me. Wondered how much my plane weighed. Ordered a digital crane scale off e bay. I thought about 900, pretty close, comes in at 795.
