anvil stand

I haven't made a stand for my anvil. If I did, I would be afraid I may use it.
It's very old. Any Anvil Lovers ever heard of a mousehole anvil ?

They were a major builder in England for many, many years. Lots of the older ones in the states are mousehole.

this one has a picture of a mouse stamped into the casting. I'm guessing pretty old. I bought it for cheap... Like 20-30 bucks in pretty decent shape

All these nice anvils. ArlyA - particularly like the way it can be moved. I have a two foot piece of RR iron. Welded on my steel work table.

Mr. Smokeydog, what is the 2 inch receiver used for, and does it go all the way through?

(Nice touch with the eyes and feet!).

I have a couple solid receivers in the shop for various attachments. Ring rollers, benders, vises, crane, tooling that I don’t have to dedicate valuable floor space. Same attachments can be mounted outside on truck or tractor to swing long metal. Yes it goes thru.
