Any 4610 owners have problems with their tractors?

I wonder if they will replace the dampers on these tractors since it seems most people's 4600 series seems to do it. Kinda like a recall?

well atleast I know what might be wrong with it. I'm gonna print out these comments so the service dept can read them. is there anybody specific I could mention from massey that may be able to fill in the service dept. I guess he has only sold a few of these and hasn't had any problems with them

I gotta make a trip to the dealer soon for oil and filters. I mention it to them again and see what they say. I keep you updated as well. Other than the rattle I have nothing bad to say about the machine itself. Put almost 400 hrs on it In a year with no issues

thanks I'm taking it down Saturday, if its not too expensive a fix I'm getting a third valve added to fel for a bale hugger

you sound like you might be familiar with these tractors. does this noise sound like it might be the flex plate or the flywheel dampener that linemanluke was talking about

I found lineman Luke's post. Sounds like it could be the same issue. I have heard tale of this issue, but haven't had a single complaint out of our customers yet. I haven't tackled this job yet, so I can't say much, but it has something to do with a flywheel or clutch damper. If it becomes an issue, it should be fixed under warranty. This is all done at your dealer's discretion where you bought your tractor 9 times outta 10.

still waiting to hear from them. it will be two weeks on saturday. they thought it was the clutch dampener last time i talked to them. thinking about telling them i am just going to run it the way it is. they still havent told me what their plans are

I believe it won't hurt anything like everyone says. Mines got 880 hours on it. You'd think something would've went out by now if it was a major defect
