What a great project with wonderful results. There is nothing like the sense of personal satisfaction you get when such a project is finishing up. I think all of your hard work, effort, and patience has certainly paid off with a beautiful tractor that you can certailly be proud of. This is my first post on this thread but I have been following it all along and want to thank you for sharing it. Great job.

You know, you can polish a newer tractor till the cows come home, but it will never be as pretty as that. It's really quite stunning.

Thanks for sharing the process and thanks for keeping another old tractor alive and well and looking good.

Scotty, congratulations on what is much more than just a restoration. I think you've easily topped the original and I'd bet that tractor will be around and looking good in another 57 years. She's a beaut!:)

Mornin Guys,
I just want to take a moment to thank all the guys that followed this thread for all the compliments and encouragement. It has been alot of fun for the most part ;) :) I may post one more pic after I paint and install the rear weights and the rockshaft control rod and that will be it :)

The wife is hinting that she wants a new kitchen set out of oak, so that may very well be my next winter project :)

To all thanks again !

The A turned out great, now you can restore the origonal equipment after the kitchen. After-all, a man's gotta do what a man's wife tells him he gotta do. Later, Nat

Yep, been following this also without comment, until now. Sure looks NICE in the pics! I understand the fact that you're so "close" to the project all you can see are all the little imperfections, but GET OVER IT! :p She's a beaut'!
