Why does not the Law Enforcement Officer have the photo and have their experts working on it?

Simple, that cuts into doughnut time at Dunkin Doughnuts, Winchell's, or the local independent doughnut dealer.

I saw on the TV news tonight that one Colorado cop department posted a video that a victim's home security camera system made of two dummies burglarizing his home. Someone saw the video on YouTube, called the cops since they recognized the low-lifes, and the cops arrested the pair.

It would be worth the ticket to catch this guy. I can't even tell you how many times I've avoided a speeding ticket because the cop had his head buried in his computer. No I don't drive like a maniac! I think its just the world we have made for ourselves. We have distractions everywhere and I think it's going to be impossible to police this. Maybe we need cameras Everywhere? 1984 anyone? Anyone else feel were being lawed to death? I see our fredom shrinking more every year. How about an ammendment to repeal some of the laws?

We have so many laws and cameras in public and private places anymore that I agree that in some ways it feels like 1984. Anybody got a good deal on Victory Razor Blades?

Many years ago I was driving westbound on a busy street when a snot nosed kid with a lightning bolt earring driving a Subaru blew by me, swung into my lane and pulled up short. I rear ended him as a result of his stupid driving; but of course I was in the wrong in the eyes of the law. Anyway, my S-10 pickup without 5-MPH bumpers took more damage than his Gooberu did. The kid told me he was late for work and that he had no insurance. I busted a gut laughing and told him we're calling the cops. He didn't leave; but was clearly upset at the prospect of not getting to his record store job (a guess) since I insisted on calling the cops. The cop came, investigated the accident, thanked me for my cooperation and apologized for having to write me a ticket. Then he proceeded to ream the kid a new a$$hole for not having insurance.

Many years before that incident, it was a cold January night (-20) and I had gotten off the swing shift. It was icy and I had a drunk broad run into me, and fortunately there were no injuries. This gal was drunk as a skunk because her boyfriend left her to go to Georgia. I had the gall to call the Denver PD on this one too, and since the cops had to come out in -20 temps, they let her go home with a motorist who claimed to be an Aurora (Denver burb) auxiliary cop. The auxiliary cop no doubt got laid by the drunk broad, my car was damaged, and the Denver PD's doughnut break was interrupted. I called the Aurora cops about the auxiliary cop and they were real interested in what I had to say. The Denver cops didn't give a crap when I complained that their cops didn't haul an obviously drunk woman to the can for the night.

I was able to zoom in and, using highly sophisticated proprietary software, and with helpful guidance of my CIB D/Sgt DW, enhance the image enough to possibly ID the driver.

Well now we know it wasn't Jimmy Hoffa who was doing the B & E.

I hope the deputy follows up and does the right thing. In this case, there's actually a witness, and a good photograph af the attempted burglary. Seems like much more than they usually have to go on. I just hope it wasn't a stolen plate or vehicle. I wish there were more good neighbors like you.

I had a minor run-in with an idiot not too long ago. I pulled into a full-serve gas station to fill up. A car on the other side of the pumps pulled away with the nozzle still in. Man, those things can stretch! When it popped out, it missed the attendant by about 6 inches and ended up hitting my car, leaving a nice size dent. The kid driving just looked at me and peeled away. I did get the plate number and figured I'd just call the cops and let them do their thing. Turns out the tag on the kid's car was false and the cops couldn't do anything about it anyway. I'm just glad the poor attendant didn't get hurt.

Maybe your neighbor had borrowed this guys mower (or whatever) and failed to return it. The guy came to get it after many calls, got frustrated, and kicked the door. When it broke, he realized how stupid he was being and departed. Then he saw you chasing him and panic set in, causing to flee at high speed. He has since called your neighbor and explained, and is planning to set things right when the neighbor gets home. The cops have been informed and no more will be done.

And there is a really nice bridge connecting the U P with the rest of Michigan that I can sell you for a heck of a good price since there is a former union leader buried in the concrete making up the south pier anchoring the thing in place.
