I think you are a great neighbor.
And doing good work. It may not pan out, but it strikes me its worth the chance getting this guy off the streets. He's not the kind of guy I'd want hanging around my neighborhood.
Some people think we should leave catching crooks to the cops. I think we all have a responsibility to keep our neighborhoods safe. An attitude of ignoring stuff like that is how a country goes to ****.

Hi:
If I wouldn't get into trouble (or even fired) I'd run the plate thru NLETS for you. Maybe stop by the local stopnrob when you see a cruiser and explain situation and they might run it 4U. Also any state worth 1/2 cent should be able to run a dark ford PU with a partial plate. In Ia I do it against 3 million vehicle daily and after few lines of code takes 3 min to get results. I still would make a pest of myself to the next higher LEO level in that Dept, I would give the first gal a little slake but now with the plate(or most of it)/desc of vehicle there is very little excuse to not try. It could be your place next.

Got a call from a detective yesterday about 4:00 He wanted me to send him the pictures I had. Also went over my story about 3 times. Also asked if I could ID the guy. Told him definitely. Where and when? He said he'd be I touch with me next week. He still hasn't heard back from my neighbor yet.
